Many medically necessary physician services are covered for people with valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) coverage. Coverage depends on your eligibility and the service provided; it is best to ask before your visit if you are uncertain.

What should I bring?

Bring your valid Ontario health card. If it is expired, lost or unavailable, call the clinic to ask what information you need and whether a fee may apply. Do not assume that a pending application gives you coverage.

Are all services covered?

No. Some services, including certain forms, reports and examinations, may not be covered by OHIP. Ask reception about the specific service and any fee in advance. A clinician will decide what care is appropriate.

What if I do not have OHIP?

Call Eliva Care at 289-409-0090 to ask whether the service you need is available and about current fees and payment options. The clinic can explain its requirements before you travel.

See Ontario's information about OHIP coverage and our walk-in clinic page for more details.
