When your child is unwell and their usual provider is unavailable, a walk-in assessment may be an option for a non-emergency concern. Eliva Care provides care for adults and children; call first to discuss your child's age, symptoms and current availability.
What to tell the clinic
- Your child's age and when the symptoms began.
- Whether symptoms are getting worse and any relevant medical conditions or allergies.
- Medicines already given, including the name, dose and time, if known.
- Whether your child has been assessed for the same concern recently.
Bring your child's valid health card if available and any relevant medication or reports. A parent or guardian should ask reception about any consent or identification requirements.
When to get urgent help
Call 911 for severe breathing difficulty, unresponsiveness, a seizure that does not stop, or another suspected emergency. Babies and young children can become unwell quickly; if you are concerned about a very young infant, rapidly worsening symptoms or dehydration, seek prompt medical advice. Call 811 if you need guidance and the situation is not an emergency.
Call 289-409-0090 before visiting and see the walk-in clinic page for our Milton location.
